Are you up for some glow worms, tight constrictions, abseils down hidden waterfalls, running from dinosaurs, sore legs, a proper appreciation for warm sunlight and an overall awesome Friday? If so, perfect! Because Luke and I are running a trip with that very description!
Provided it doesn’t Ranon us we will be heading up to the mountains this Friday for an adventure! The plan is to take the Ranon entrance to Claustral canyon, Slot in that Nat Geo shot and head up Thunder canyon in reverse, over the Camel’s hump and home.
You sorta need to already know some of the ropes for this trip, so hence why it is intermediate only. If I haven’t canyoned with you before, please add in the comments section your previous canyoning experience. It will be a long day (12ish hours) so we might camp nearby in the mountains Thursday night to get that early start.
Some reminders of very important things to pack:
- Harness
- Safeties + locking biners
- Helmet
- Descender
