Hi all!
I’ll be running an ascending / descending workshop at the Ledge on Wednesday 24th at 6pm.
We will be focusing on skills and devices specific to caving, including ascending, descending, and basic vertical mobility.
Where is it?
Wednesday 24th at the Ledge 6pm.
Who is this for?
This trip will take priority for members who are doing vertical caves on Bungonia Palooza, so that they can get practice and be more comfortable for their trips that weekend.
What to bring?
The club can provide all the gear you need, however if you have anything from the following list please bring it!
- Mechanical ascenders and chest loop
- Caving abseiling device (RapRak, Stop, Simple)
- Harness
- Prussiks and biners
- PAS / safety sling and biner
