Bungonia Beginner’s Caving

Hi guys!

This is a beginner-friendly caving trip for those of us who enjoy crawling around in dark, damp hobbit holes. We have space for about 20 beginners, plan is to do around 2 caves.

You will need:

– a headlight (Caves are dark. Very, very dark). Also a back-up torch in case your headlight dies.
– batteries for these lights.
– a helmet.
– clothes that can and will get dirty. If you can get your hands on a pair of coveralls, that is ideal. Just remember, anything going into the cave is unavoidably coming out trashed.
– closed shoes with good traction, e.g. gumboots or volleys.
– water/lunch.

All of these things are pretty essential for going into a cave, so you unfortunately cannot come if you don’t have them on the day 🙂
