Also known as “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road” canyon.
This canyon involves abseiling, jumping down into water, and swimming. You will be cold and wet pretty much constantly. It’s going to be awesome.
As with the other canyoning trips happening for Boree Log, we’ll be leaving as early as possible Saturday morning, and abseiling experience is not necessary.
Gear Required:
- Sturdy enclosed shoes
- Socks (not cotton)
- Thermals/Wetsuit. You need to be able to spend time in cold water without getting hypothermia, as this is frowned upon. The club has some wetsuits, but bring your own if you have it. Spare thermals on the day are very rare, don’t count on being able to borrow some.
- Harness and belay device. The club has some, but bring your own if you have them
- Helmet. A bike helmet is sufficient.
- 2L of drinking water
- Lunch
- A backpack (again, will get wet and dirty)
