Canyoning trip here for beginners. Abseiling experience not required as you will be taught the ropes on the trip ;).
Maximum of 10 people (2 car loads).
We will be meeting and leaving from Mt Wilson on Saturday morning. If you would like to come directly from Sydney and meet us there, let me know!
Gear Required:
- Sturdy enclosed shoes and socks. (If you bring thongs, you will be left at the car)
- Water Bottle
- Harness and belay device (the club has some but bring yours if you have it)
- Wetsuit (again, the club has some but bring yours if you have it)
- A little bit of food
- Thermals go well under your wetsuit if you feel the cold
The plan at the moment is to do the Empress Falls / Grand Canyon double header provided we have time. Also, if we end up with a group of reasonably experienced people, we may head out and do something more challenging.
