Hola all,
Tilly and I are running a beginners hiking trip in the blue mountains, on one of the most spectacular (in my opinion) tracks in the blue mountains, Rodriguez Pass. It is a spectacular cliff-face path down to the valley floor along rivers and waterfalls.
For those new to the club, who either want to get fit (there will be plenty of stairs), or who simply want to see the Blue mountains this is a great trip to start with.
Since it is a DAY HIKE, you do not need tents and sleeping bags for the hike. You’ll need
-food (lunch and snacks) and water (plenty of it)
-some warm clothes
-very comfortable shoes/boots (while most of the track is in good condition, some parts are a little rougher)
-sunscreen
-headtorch
If you want advice regarding anything about clothing/gear, facebook either Tilly or myself.
Everyone is welcome.
To get there: I’m planning be heading up the night before, to camp at a nearby campground. If you want to come up at then and camp let me know via facebook. Otherwise, Tilly will be heading up very early on Sunday morning. If you want to come and miss out on both cars, you’ll have to get the train. We’ll be meeting at 10am at Govetts leap to start the walk!
Sam and Tilly.
