BL Saturday – Trad Climbing to Old Baldy

The superstar Vicky and I (Maria) are leading a multipitch trad climbing trip to the Upper Cliff of Old Baldy. By far the best trip in Boree Log! (Biased opinion, but check the link below to see the climbs!)

To come on this trip you MUST

• Know how to LEAD BELAY
• Have climbed TRAD before or be a strong sport climber (grade 16-18+ outdoors)

In this trip you can learn or practise a bit about

• Trad placements
• Trad anchors
• Multipitch technique
• Plus climb a really awesome 100m cliff!

We will borrow the gear from the Boree Log directly. Please, bring any personal climbing gear that you have. If you have a car, you’ll get preference! For the day you will need water and food, appropiate clothing for climbing, personal meds (if needed) and a HEADTORCH.
