BL Sunday: Beginner’s climbing at Coke Ovens

we need one more car to get people home, let me know if you can drive!

hey all,

me, elliott, jenny and izzy are running a small climbing trip to coke ovens on the sunday of boree log. its a ~30 min walk from the campsite. the crag is mostly trad, we will set up top ropes for beginners. if you are a trad leader or more experienced climber with lead belay skills, shoot me a message in facebook (mac labine-romain) and you can come too in addition to the 6 spots i’ve opened up for the trip.

there will be lots of cracks, and although climbing experience is not necessary, you will benefit from whatever practice you’ve had!

what you need to bring:

comfy clothes, lunch, lots of water, walking shoes

–> we will provide all the specialised gear – but if you have any (especially climbing shoes!) bring it!
