BL Sunday – Beginner/Intermediate Climbing Stonehaven

NOTE: Registration for all Boree Log day trips will open on Tuesday at 6 pm. You must already be accepted onto the main Boree Log event in order to attend.

Come join Cindy and I (Nic) for a fun day climbing at Stonehaven on Sunday! This is a fantastic crag but the grades start a little harder, so some climbing experience is preferable.

We will be setting up top ropes so no experience is required! Let us know if you are interested in learning to lead and we can show you where to get started 🙂

What you’ll need:

• At least 2L water (it will be hot)
• Lunch and snacks
• Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunnies)
• Helmet *
• Harness *
• Climbing shoes (optional but highly recommended)
• Belay device and carabiner *
• Safety sling and carabiner * (if you want to learn to clean)

Items with (*) can be borrowed from the club on Sunday morning. Climbing shoes can also be borrowed from the club but only on the regular Thursday gear night this week.
