Best of the Grose – Sunday day hike

Come see some of the best views the blue mountains has to offer! Somehow Georgie and I (Daniel) have never gone to some of the most classic spots in the blue mountains, so we linked them up into a hike!

We’ll start from Perry’s lookdown and walk down to Govett’s creek, passing through the majestic Blue Gum Forest. We’ll then cross the creek and head up through shortridge pass to Du Faur head for some stunning views! From here we’ll head on up to Lockleys Pylon for panoramic views of the area. If time permits we may also visit the instagram-worthy infinity rock pools at fortress falls. The whole day will be about 12-15 km but with a lot of up and down.

What to bring:

• Clothes to hike in, we may be bush bashing at points
• At least 2L of water
• Food for the day (lunch, plenty of snacks)
