WOOO HIKING!
This is one of my FAVOURITE hikes in the blue mountains and I know you’re going to love it too! This walk weaves it’s way down into the Gross valley, revealing cliff walks, amazing flora, waterfalls, swims and much more! This 6-7 hour walk is one of the best ways to explore what the blue mountains has to offer!!
Ok, down to business.
WHAT TO BRING:
- WATER – Bring at least 2 Litres of water. Believe me you’ll need it! We pass a few rivers so if you’re game you can refill.
- CLOTHING – Be logical!! You’ll get hot hiking so wear light clothing. However you’ll also want to bring a jumper in case the weather turns bad. Wear appropriate, comfortable shoes like joggers or hiking shoes. A hat is also a good idea.
- SUNSCREEN – The Australian sun is brutal. You’ll want to reapply every few hours.
- FOOD – You will need to bring lunch as well as a few snacks. we’ll be doing a lot of exercise so you’ll need food for energy. Especially to get up the final stairs (;
- SWIMMERS – there are plenty of places to jump in and cool off.
- HEAD TORCH – If you have one please bring it! We will almost definitely get out before dark but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
PLAN
- We will be leaving the campsite at 8:30 AM. If you are not ready to leave by then you will be left behind to help cook (;
We will be carpooling so if you have a car please bring it as we’ll need as many as we can get (:
