*FULL* Beginner Sport Climbing Trip – Sunday 2nd July

Hey everyone!

Caity, Amelia and I will be heading to Narrabeen, a crag in the Northern Beaches. This is a good opportunity get started with outdoor climbing, no previous experience is required. We’ll teach you everything you need to know on the day!

Note: The trip will go ahead depending on the weather, we’ll make a call closer to the date.

Please bring the following:

• Harness*
• Helmet*
• Climbing shoes*
• Belay device + locking carabiner* (e.g. ATC, GriGri)
• Safety sling + locking carabiner* (if you want to learn how to clean a route)
• Chalk, if you have*

*Gear can be borrowed at the Gear Cupboard at UNSW usually on Thursdays 5-6pm. Check Facebook for the latest details. You don’t need to pay for rental, but bring cash for a deposit

And don’t forget:

• Sunscreen/hat
• 2L water
• Food and snacks for the day
• Sporty clothes and comfy shoes
• Warm jumper
• Daypack to fit all of the above inside
