Che and Blair will be bouldering at Lindfield Rocks on Saturday morning (23/5/15), and you’re welcome to join us.
Bouldering mats, supervision, and guidance will be provided, the rest is on you. It’s going to be an early start, and supervision may be limited after 11am (I’ve got to get to work).
You need to bring:
- Adequate amounts of food and water for the day
- Warm clothing
- Not much else really, this trip’s pretty basic
It would be good if you could bring:
- Climbing shoes
- Chalk
- Any bouldering mats you have access to (the average boulderer’s insatiable lust for padded landings cannot be overstated)
Lindfield rocks is accessed by walking down the bush track behind the tennis courts at the northeastern corner of Eastern Arterial Road and Tryon Road. There’s plenty of bouldering, with a good variety of grades, so climbers of any ability level should be able to have a good time.
It’s a 15 minute walk from the Lindfield train station, and we can probably shuttle some people over depending on arrival times.
