BEGINNER CLIMBING AT MT YORK – BOREE LOG SUNDAY

Abi, Sam, Elliott and myself will be holding a Sunday climbing session at Mt York/Barden’s Lookout.

This is a beginner friendly trip and we are there to show you the ropes! In the comment section when registering for this trip, please include your climbing experience (again, none is fine!)

All the climbing specific gear will be provided by the club (if you do have your own, please let us know that too, so we may be able to accommodate more people!)

Please bring the following

• comfortable clothes to climbing (stretchy and flexible is best. Try to avoid very loose clothing that can get caught)
• Strudy walking shoes
• Lunch
• 2L water (at least)
• Sunscreen/sunnies
• Snacks for your leaders are always appreciated

If you have the following, bring them as well. If you don’t, we’ll sort you out on the day:

• Helmet
• Harness
• ATC
• Climbing shoes
• Chalk bag and chalk
• Locking biners

If you are already an experienced climber, maybe consider another trip and leave this trip for beginners, or let us know (:
