beginner canyon – lower bowens creek north

Hey guys 🙂

Bayu and I are leading Lower bowens north on Sunday. It is a relatively short but pretty canyon with 2 abseils and quite a few little swims (if I remember correctly). You’d definitely want to have a wetsuit! 🙂

We are limiting spots to just 2 ppl to start with because we only have 1 car so far! Sign up anyway though, and I’ll approve more if spots open up

Please PM/email me with 1) phone number, 2) whether u have a car and are willing to drive, 3) previous canyoning experience

Things to bring:

• Helmet
• Wetsuit
• Optional: thermals to wear under your wetsuit
• Harness
• ATC
• Safety sling and locking biner
• Dry bag (or use multiple plastic bags at your own risk ;))
• Dry set of thermals (for emergencies – to keep dry the entire trip)
• Lunch and water
• Woollen socks (no cotton!)
• Closed shoes (Dunlop volleys recommended 🙂 sneakers will work too)
