ADSOC & UNSWOC – Climbing Trip – Blue Mountains

Flip your desks and burn your papers, because UNSW Outdoors Club and ADSOC have joined forces to climb Mt York in the Blue Mountains next weekend!

I have organised with Adventure Society heads to have a combined UNSWOC & ADSOC Climbing Trip at Mt York in the Blue Mountains next weekend! Open to BEGINNERS, this trip will be run by myself, Damon, Laura and Matt.

At the moment we have 10 spaces for ADSOC members, and 10 for UNSWOC. Just sign up here!
We’ll be running set up, keep you well safe and teach you everything you need to know for a fun day climbing.

All participants will need:
Harness, Helmet and Climbing shoes, Belay Plate and Carabiner. (Can be borrowed from gear cupboard)

Bring Your Own:
Food and Water for the day, Money for petrol, Sunscreen.

Optional (Bring if you have it):
Rope, Quickdraws, Blueys guidebook

TRANSPORT to Mt York:
Carpooling: Whoever is coming and has a car we’ll squash everyone in!

Train: If there isn’t enough space in cars you can catch the train to Mt Victoria station and those with cars can shuttle people from there to the crag.
