Hello!
The second rogaine of the year is coming up in 2 weeks, and it would be great to see some UNSWOC faces there 😁
What is a rogaine?
Essentially a treasure hunt in the bush! You’ll get to put your navigation skills to the test, using a map and compass to find marked locations to score points. You’ve only got 6 hours though, so don’t be back late!
If you’ve never tried rogaining before, this is a great first event! It’s relatively short and you aren’t too far from civilization, but combines the traditional rogaine environment (the bush) with some urban areas and farms!
- When? 10am to 4pm, Sunday 30th March
- Where? Jordan Springs Community Centre near Penrith, 1 hour west of UNSW (public transport accessible!)
- How much? $32 for a student concession, else $45.
- Signups close? Sunday 23rd March
Amazing – how do I sign up? This event is not run by UNSWOC, we just attend 😀

Note: Teams of 2-4 are required (no disadvantage if you are only 2 people). If you are keen to attend the event but don’t have a partner, try commenting under [this] Facebook post and see if you can find someone!
