Been climbing for a while and finding yourself trad-curious? It’s totally natural, don’t worry. Come and see what it’s all about with Maria and I at Piddo (or another mountains crag, pending conditions/whims) this Sunday 7th April.
(funny intro shamelessly stolen from Mac in this trip)
This will be a full day thing, with the intention of learning some of the many skills necessary to competently trad climb.
Specifics will depend on the group’s ability, but at the very least we will deal with the foremost skill: placing good gear. It is important to first practice this with your feet firmly on the ground/on top rope.
No trad experience required, but you must be able to competently lead climb. (If you don’t know what that is, this trip is probs not for you…)
Please comment:
- your level of experience
