SUMMARY:Trad Climbing at Piddo [Intermediate Trip]
DESCRIPTION:Been climbing for a while and finding yourself trad-curious? It
 ’s totally natural\, don’t worry. Come and see what it’s all about w
 ith Maria and I at Piddo (or another mountains crag\, pending conditions/w
 hims) this Sunday 7th April.\n(funny intro shamelessly stolen from Mac in 
 this trip)\n\nThis will be a full day thing\, with the intention of learni
 ng some of the many skills necessary to competently trad climb.\nSpecifics
  will depend on the group's ability\, but at the very least we will deal w
 ith the foremost skill: placing good gear. It is important to first practi
 ce this with your feet firmly on the ground/on top rope.\n\nNo trad experi
 ence required\, but you must be able to competently lead climb. (If you do
 n't know what that is\, this trip is probs not for you...)\n\nPlease comme
 nt:\n\n 	 your level of experience\n 	if you are able and comfortable at 
 abseiling\n 	what you want to learn\n\nBeing an intermediate trip you shou
 ld know what to bring\, but in any case here is what you need:\n\n 	*Helme
 t\n 	*Harness\n 	*Belay device + Locking Carabiner\n 	*Climbing Shoes\n 	F
 ood + water (at least 1.5L)\n 	Backpack to carry the above\n 	appropriate 
 clothing (check the weather)\n 	petrol money for you driver\n 	good vibes\
 n\n*These items can be borrowed from the gear cupboard.\n\n&nbsp\;
