Hey you!
Yeh you!

Have you ever wanted to get into some climbing action and ascend mighty cliffs?
Are you curious about pushing the human spirit and body to new limits?

Well strap your adrenaline junkie mind in for an full day of epic Saturday climbing. If you’ve always considered yourself up to the challenge or are keen to break out of your comfort zone, this is trip for you!

Both Jack and myself (Steve) are here to provide you with an awesome introduction to the world of climbing. Although we will be working on beginner’s climbing techniques this expedition gladly welcomes climbers of all levels. Despite this trip is aimed at climbers who mostly top rope, sport climbing will also be taught if there is demand.

We will be heading to The Soft Parade crag close to Mount Victoria. The crag is relatively easy to access so you don’t have to waste all your energy just trying to find the damn cliff! A large variety of beginner to intermediate grades (10-19) make this the perfect place to learn and work on proper skills.

Down below in the comments let us know what sort of climbing experience you have, whether you have your own transport and what sort of gear you own that you can bring along.

Its super important that everyone has a good time so make sure to bring appropriate outdoor clothes and plenty of snacks for when your too pumped out to climb.

We will head as a group from the Boree Log campground near the trailer around 8:00am on Saturday morning. There you can organise a gear pick up (for those who require the clubs climbing equipment).

  • Gear: harness, helmet, climbing shoes, ATC + carabiner (if you have your own make sure you bring it!!!).
  • What to bring: sunscreen, 2L water (minimum!), food and snacks for the day, sporty-warm clothes, comfortable access shoes (old runners or hiking bookts), a day backpack to fit all your stuff inside, camera, TOILET PAPER etc.
  • Meeting point: 8:00am at Boree Log Trailer (Cathedral of Ferns Campground, Mt Wilson).

*You must sign up to and be approved for the Boree Log trip on this website before you are approved for this trip.

See you there!
