Ladies and Gents, it’s time again for the SKI BUS WEEKEND AWAY!

Last year was a great success so we’ll be doing it again. This weekend is great for learning how to ski/board, polish up your skills, get into the backcountry, or just have a great weekend with your mates.

Note.. This is ACTUALLY Sam skiing in Australia.

We have organised a bus, food and accommodation deal to get everyone there, keep you warm and enable maximum shreddage!

WHEN?

We will leave UNSW Friday the 11th of August at 5:00 pm to ski on the 12th and 13th. We will drop you back late Sunday night.

WHERE?

We will leave from gate 14 of UNSW, next to the physics lawn and will drop you back there. We’ll drive down, have a few beers on the bus, dinner at Maccas, and then arrive in Jindy. We are staying in East Jindy at the Snowy Valley Resort, which has a pool, spa, and a hotel bar which will be awesome with 60 sexy UNSWOCer’s occupying it.

Last year we went to Threadbo, so this year to shake it up we’re going to Perisher.

WHO?

To join this trip, you must be a member of UNSWOC. A few members of some of our sister clubs from other unis  (SURMC, UTSOAC, SUBW) and at UNSW (UWC, WSC and WSWB) might be joining us too.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED TO PAY?

About $250 – $520. Here’s how it goes:

Accommodation, dinner, lunch, snacks, breakfasts and the bus? $250!
Now you have 4 options:
– Option A:
I need everything (gear, ski pass) -> Add $270 + $10 if you want a snowboard instead

– Option B:
I only need a lift and tube pass -> Add $225

– Option C:
I only need Gear Hire -> Add $65 Ski Gear, $75 Board Gear

– Option D:
I have a season pass and my own gear -> Add $0

Extras:
Add 2 x 2 hour lessons -> Add $20

Now?

You need to pay a $50 deposit to book a space (bottom of the page).

Then you’ll need to pay the rest of the accommodation cost, ($200) by the 31st of May. Details on how to pay:

On the trip?

Only the basic $245 (accommodation, food and transport) is sorted out through us, everything else (lift passes, ski hire, and lessons) will be done on the bus IN CASH, so BRING CASH!!!

When you book below please enter your details so that we are able to contact you on the weekend if need be, and please make sure that your account details are up to date, in particular your emergency contact who should NOT be someone who is with you on the weekend.

Helmets will be required on this trip, so if you don’t own a ski helmet then you will be able to hire one.
