Howdy,
We’ve registered a team from UNSWOC to help out with Crag Care on Saturday the 6th of May. Crag Care is an initiative where climbers help climbers – get your hands dirty and help clean up and improve our crags. If you’re a climber and have visited one of the many crags in the Blueys, you probably have Crag Care to thank!
If you’re interested and want to help out, come along and enjoy a great day out. If that isn’t enough to draw you in, morning tea and lunch is provided (let me know if you’re vego) – but bring a couple of snacks and water. as you’re likely to work up an appetite. Also I hear there’s a 20% off discount for Big John’s resoles as well.
Still sussing out the location from the organisers but I think it’ll be Shipley. I will confirm location and time.
Message me if you have a car, but I will be driving up. Yet to work out post Crag Care plans, but depending on the crew and how things are looking could tie in a climbing trip on Sunday
What to Bring:
- Sturdy shoes
- Clothes to get doity in
- Water and a few snacks
- Hat and sunscreen
- Climbing gear – might get a climb in after the event!
- Tent etc if you plan to stay in the Blueys!
Peace
Abs
