Hey guys!
Want a beautiful place to nurse your hangover on Sunday? Come hang with me in The Balkans!
The plan was to head into the ‘Frontlines’ section of The Balkans but if anyone has a better idea I’m up for a detour! The Frontlines is an amazing spot perfect for all levels of climbers, with over 200 boulder problems ranging from V0 to V12!
Details:
- Leaving UNSW at 9am to be at the crag by 10am. If you are leaving from a different location let me know and I will wait for you on Larra Cr so we can walk in together.
- YOU WILL NEED lots of water, climbing shoes (recommended but not necessary), lunch, a helmet (recommended), a hammock or slackline if you have one and a case of beer if you want to make friends (;
- I will be finishing up around 3-4pm but anyone that wants to stick around is free to do so. Just remember that the bouldering mat is then your responsibility!
- Transport: I will be driving and I’m sure others will be too but if you are an unlucky soul that misses out on a spot never fear! This crag is easily accessible by public transport.Transport description stolen from the crag:
