[FULL] SUNDAY BL – UPPER SHIPLEY Sport Climbing

Gabe and I (Maddi) will lead be leading a sport climbing trip on Sunday to Upper Shipley in Blackheath. This area is very beginner friendly so anyone is welcome. We will set up some top ropes but there will also be opportunities to learn to lead/clean routes if anyone is interested.
We’ll meet at the Boree Log campground Sunday morning and head down together to Blackheath.

Tell me your experience level, your favourite hike in Australia and whether you have a car and number of extra spots available in the comments.

You will need:

*Helmet
*Harness
*Belay device + Locking Carabiner
*Climbing Shoes
Food + water (at least 2L!!)
Backpack to carry the above
warm clothing (potentially – check the weather!)
petrol money for your driver
good vibes
*These items can be borrowed the morning of Boree Log, but it may run out so BYO if you have it to avoid disappointment.

You must be approved to the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. If you get rejected then you can sign up for another trip, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly.
