Are you learning to climb outside? Ever wondered what your trip leaders are doing when they are faffing about at the top of a route at the end of the day? Want to magically collect gear and come down safely?
Then come and learn how to clean outdoor anchors on Thursday at the Ledge! Note: you also need to sign up to the ledge to come to this workshop.
This is an essential skill for your safety and to ensure you aren’t leaving your precious gear behind for others to grab (i.e. crag swag)!
You need to be:
- Keen to develop your outdoor climbing skills
- Physically at the ledge at 6pm
You need to bring:
- Your harness
- Two locking carabiners
- A self-anchor/safety sling
Please mention in your sign up comment whether you have your own gear, or what you need if not.
We will be cleaning from 6-7:30 but you can climb before and after at the ledge.
