For this weeks training, come to a learn to abseil!
Abseiling is a crucial skill for all outside rope work. If you want to climb or canyon or cave, having a good knowledge of abseiling is essential. So come along for a BEGINNERS workshop in the 101 basics of abseiling.
As its getting darker the workshop will start at 4pm sharp on Friday at Clovelly cliffs. If you would like a lift from uni (or have a car to provide a lift) please let me know in the comments.
Equipment:
– Bring any of your personal equipment
– ATC, harness, helmet, rope and safety will provided
– Ware trainers or solid shoes and comfortable clothing (long shorts to pants are more comfortable with a harness)
– Make sure to bring water, a Jumper (ocean wind can get nippy) AND A HEAD TOURCH
Please put your relevant experience or wants/wishes for the workshop in the comments (It’s ok if you have 0 experience I just want to know how to taper the training)
If you have any questions feel free to shoot me (Mira Bug) a message on facebook or come and find me at the ledge on Thursday.
*please note I am just volunteer not a professional guide
