Hey all! It’s 2023 and that means the LEDGE is back for another year of good times! Every Thursday night the Outdoors Club head to the Ledge Climbing Centre at USYD for discounted $6 entry for club members (usual entry fee for non-members). It is the place to be to meet new friends, get a feel for the club, and get excited about all the trips to come this term.
COVID Rules and Things
- Bookings no longer required – just come along, member or not!
- Full vaccination required – in line with the requirement USYD has on their sporting facilities complex and our UNSW Outdoors Club Vaccination Policy
- Social Distancing – please continue to observe social distancing and COVID safe behaviour
- Pizza and Beer? – After climbing we usually head to the local pub just down the road for discounted (and really good) pizza, beer and good chats. Do come along!
You don’t need any climbing experience or gear to come along to the ledge. We will have harness for you to borrow. Any and all abilities are welcome too, doesn’t matter if you’ve never set foot in a climbing gym before.
The Ledge is the best place to sign-up to the club, learn, and plan trips for the weekend! Beginner to advanced friendly!
Please note that most members arrive at 5:30pm – 6:00pm, but for $6 climbing you can arrive anytime from 5pm!
