Rain rain go away? No, why ever would you say that Rain rain go away? No, why ever would you say that! ๐ŸŒง๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ

What started as a "maybe a few waterfalls" kind of day turned into an absolute waterfall goldmine. In just a few hours walk between Hazelbrook and Lawson we counted nine waterfalls, all absolutely pumping thanks to the rain. The rainforest was ridiculously lush, the trails were quiet, and everything (including us) ended up a little wet. Totally worth it.

We even spotted some cool crayfish hiding in the streams along the way ๐Ÿฆž

Huge thanks to everyone who came along, and a bigger thanks to our amazing trip leaders for organising this!

A special thanks to @canyoning_australia for organ A special thanks to @canyoning_australia for organising a lovely meetup in the Wolgan Valley ๐Ÿ˜

If you don't know, access to the spectacular Wolgan Valley has been by escort only for the last 5 years due to road closures.

Last weekend, several UNSWOC members joined the ACA meetup and explored awesome canyons, including mystical dry canyons, and one almost entirely dark and lit by glow worms ๐Ÿ”ฆ

As always, thanks to our trip leaders for running this, and a special thanks again to Canyoning Australia and the Newnes Hotel for hosting us ๐Ÿฅณ

We will be back :)))
