Point Perpendicular Climbing

Rene and 5 others headed down to Point Perp on the Satudary morning to climb on the Sea Side crags. Michael Lee, Damon Vandermaat and Richard Croker  departed Sydney at 1:30 on Saturday afternoon and met up with Rene and the other just as it was getting dark on the Sea Side wall.
Everyone returned to camp for dinner. Rene and company made buritos while Damon and Michael enjoyed a delicious lamb Rogan Josh. The evening concluded with some photography around Honeymoon Bay.
The next morning we were greeted by some friendly Kangaroos and the prospect of Up'n'Go's for breakfast. Everyone was quick in trying to get ready in order to leave before the ranger came to collect camp fee's in the morning. Everyone was successful in this, except for Rene's car. However, in a moment of honesty, he dobbed us all in, so no-one escaped the $5 camping fee. (I should mention that camping fees at Honeymoon Bay are collected on behalf of the Navy and Defence Force and NOT national parks, which is why we don't feel bad about trying to skip out of paying)
Sunday's climbing was focused around the Bayside Upper wall. A number of climbs ranging from grade 12 to grade 18 where climbed by the group. Notable mis-adventure for the day was Damon and Michael's attempt at Lithium, a grade 18 trad route starting from a hanging belay. The first move proved to be quite difficult, requiring Micheal and Damon to both prussik past  on the fixed rap line next to the route.
Routes climbed during the day:
Sympatico - 16
Lithium - 18
Everyone left the crag just after sun set for an 8:30pm arrival in Sydney.
