SUMMARY:[WJ Palooza] SATURDAY- Dip (Intermediate Abseil ONLY)
DESCRIPTION:Sign up for ONE Saturday and ONE Sunday trip. If you do not
  get accepted on your first choice trip then you may sign up for a differe
 nt one. (Same format as Boree Log!). You must be signed up to this main e
 vent to sign up to individual trips\nSignups Open at 8pm Monday 14th\n\n&n
 bsp\;\n\nAbseil/squeeze down a 20m pitch and enjoy Dip Cave! With 5 distin
 ct sections (called series) there is plenty to explore. The adventurers ca
 n try to find “Dismal Chamber”. Enjoy the pretty features in the “Ma
 in Chamber” before crawling through the “Rathole” to check out the 
 “Daylight Chamber”. Laugh at the others prusiking out and get ready fo
 r a gentle walk back to the cars.\n\nThis trip requires you to abseil but 
 there is NO ascending\, so minimal rope skills are required. There is a ma
 ndatory squeeze to exit the cave. You just need to be fit and have a keen 
 sense of adventure. \n\nFYI There are a large number of bats present in t
 his cave! (and also bat poo / guano). They are very small and cute - very 
 unlikely to bite you!\nGear that can be borrowed on the day of:\nPlease le
 t us know in the comments what gear you are missing from this list. Do NOT
  borrow these items from the gear cupboard - the club will bring this equi
 pment directly to Wee Jasper (similar to Boree Log!).\n\nCaving Gear:\n\n 
 	Helmet\n\nVertical Gear:\n\n 	Harness\n\n\n 	\n\n 	Descender (Figure 8)\n
  	Safety (PAS or 120cm sling)\n\n\n\n\n 	3 x Locking Carabiners\n\n&nbsp\;
 \nBYO Gear for Caving\n\n 	\n\n 	Caving Clothes (overalls\, or OLD long pa
 nts and long sleeve shirt - The club will bring some overalls\, but these 
 are not guaranteed to fit you!)\n 	Thermals to wear in cave under clothes\
 n 	2x Headlights + spare batteries\n\n 	For those who have rechargeable he
 adlights - I recommend bringing a powerbank. The cold can drain the batter
 ies overnight\n\n\n 	Shoes that can get dirty and muddy (eg Sneakers\, Gum
 boots)\n 	Small bottle of water (this may become your pee bottle if you ne
 ed to go)\n 	Small packed lunch - nothing messy that will end up all over 
 the floor!\n 	Small backpack that can get dirty\n 	Snacks!\n 	Soft Kneepad
 s and/or Elbowpads - OPTIONAL but nice to have\n 	Your best Bane or Batman
