I n the former\, lots of drinks are had. In the latter teams of 3-5 race aro und to collect Control Points with the aid of a map and compass. Combining these activities makes for more than a good time!!!\n\n \;\n\nThe rul es are simple. Each team is given a list of pubs and a map. Each pub is wo rth a designated number of points based roughly on the difficulty of reach ing it. You are allowed to only move on foot\, or public transport\, but n o cars\, Uber or bicycles (or whatever else). The team must remain togethe r at all times\, splitting up to get to more pubs is an instant disqualifi cation.\n\n \;\n\nWe will meet at Victoria Park (East of USYD 🤮) an d the location within the park will be announced via the UNSWOC Instagram (Give them a follow!)\n\n \;\n\nThe PUB-GAINE itself will begin at 6:3 0 pm. There will be a FREE BBQ and registration from 5 pm so come along at any time\, make friends\, find some teammates\, and get some food when yo u register. You’re welcome to come for just the BBQ as well!\n\n \;\ n\nRego will close at 6:20 pm before a mass start at 6:30. A Venue Map wil l be available via a QR code along with the list of secret extra bouns poi nts!\n\n \;\n\nAll teams must be back at Victoria Park no later than 9 :30 pm and (5) points are lost per minute if you are late. Teams later tha n 9:45 pm will be disqualified.\n\n \;\n\nIf you cannot make it in tim e after work/uni\, you may join a team out on the course if get them to re gister on your behalf.\n\n \;\n\nWhy not increase your team’s points and go for a bonus?\n\n1. At least one member of the team is wearing merc h from any of the participating clubs (+30\, +5 per extra member)\n\n2. 50 points – for each team member wearing a helmet.\n\n3. 40 points for a t eam consisting of members from atleast 2 different clubs\n\n4. 30 points – for each team member wearing a harness.\n\n5. 20 points – for each t eam member carrying a compass around their neck.\n\n6. 10 points – for e ach team member wearing a head torch.\n\n7. 10 points – for each team me mber who can present a space blanket at the finish line (used or unused).\ n\n8. 20 points for each team member wearing a chalk bag\n\n9. 1.5 x point s for each pub where every team member drinks a beverage (alcoholic or non -alcoholic).
