SUMMARY:Trip Leader Training Weekend 2025
DESCRIPTION:Hi All\,\n\nOn the 11 - 12th of October\, UNSWOC is planning to
  do an intensive 2 day Trip Leader and Trip Leader in Training skills and 
 refresher course. This weekend will aim to up-skill our TL's and TLIT's on
  skills required to lead trips\, including skills from basic knots to vert
 ical rescue.\n\n[caption id="attachment_17815" align="aligncenter" width="

 be assigned a group based on their sport preference\, and skill level. The
 re will be the following workshops running:\n\n 	Canyoning Level 1\n 	Cany
 oning Level 2\n 	Sport Climbing Level 1\n 	Sport Climbing Level 2 + Additi
 onal Skills\n 	Caving Rope Skills - Horizontal and Vertical Caving (contac
 t Cindy for additional details)\n 	Trad Climbing (depending on interest)\n
 \nAn outline of the skills in each level can be found here UNSWOC Trip Lea
 der Skillsets V5.\n\nThe format of each two-day workshop is up to the disc
 retion of the TLs running the workshops\, and could include clifftop works
 hops\, at location scenarios\, or workshops at the campsite. You will most
  likely spend Saturday at the campsite\, then test your knowledge out at a
  crag or in a canyon on the Sunday.\n\nNumber of participants depends on t
 he number of TL's available to help run the workshops.\n\nAll workshops wi
 ll be run around the upper Blue Mountains\, and we will be camping at Cath
 edral Reserve on the Saturday night. Most people will likely decide to arr
