SUMMARY:[FULL] Tigersnake Canyon – Beginners Trip
DESCRIPTION:Ello\, Ello!\n\nCindy and I (Zee) are leading a trip on Sunday 
 through Tiger Snake Canyon!\n\nTiger Snake Canyon is a narrow\, twisting t
 ributary on the Newnes Plateau. It features two constrictions and a couple
  of abseils.. The lower is deep\, dark and spectacular.\n\n\n\nMore info a

 nThis is a dry canyon so don’t expect to get too wet\, but expect at lea
 st wet feet/legs. It will still be chilly however so bring warm clothes. e
 .g. Thermals beneath your clothes with a rain jacket on top.\n\nIt’s alr
 ight if you have not abseiled before\, we can show you the ropes but pleas
 e indicate in the comment box whether you have abseiled before and how exp
 erienced you are\, we will try have a balance of people.\n\nWhat to Expect
 :\n\n 	10kms of bush bashing and lots of walking up and down\n 	Abseiling 
 and heights!\n 	Beautiful slot canyons\n 	Hopefully no tiger snakes!\n 	Kn
 ee deep wading\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPlease fill out the form when you sign up and
  comment with your experience (if you don’t have rope skills\, just co
 mment what other outdoor activities you have done) whether you have acces
 s to a car and your favourite outdoors snack (preferably also bring it 
 to the canyon 😀)!\nIf you haven't already added a method of contacting
  you to the website please add to the comments.\n\nTiming:\n\nWe will meet
  at the old coach road carpark around 9am Sunday to do a gear check before
  setting off. Its full day canyon so expect to be back at the cars around 
 dusk and as such we cannot start late!\n\nWe are car dependant at the mome
 nt so if you own/have access to a car (that can go on unpaved roads) pleas
 e please please let us know!\nSome folks may camp in the area before hand 
 to minimize travel on the day.\n\nWhat you need:\n\n 	Harness*\n 	Helmet*\
 n 	Safety sling + biner*\n 	Figure 8 device (or descender) + biner*\n 	Eme
 rgency blanket*\n 	Backpack that can get wet\n 	Headtorch (if you dont hav
 e a head torch\, bring at least some kind of torch – it gets dark early 
 these days!)\n 	Drybag (this is important for spare clothes and your food!
 )\n 	Runners that can get trashed\n 	Thermals and woollen or synthetic soc
 ks (don’t wear ANY cotton\, you will be miserably cold!)\n 	Spare set of
  thermals to carry in your drybag (for emergencies)\n 	Rain jacket\n 	Lunc
 h and snacks!\n 	At least 2l of water\n 	Dry clothes and shoes for the car
  ride back\n 	Personal medications\n 	Camping Gear (if camping)\n\n 	tent\
 n 	sleeping bag\n 	sleeping mat\n 	dinner\n 	breakfast\n 	whatever else yo
 u like to bring camping\n\n\n 	A sense of adventure and heaps of stoke!\n\

 t likely Thursday night). Please only visit the gear shed to borrow gear o
