DESCRIPTION:Photo credit: Joe Bird [www.walkmyworld.com]\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSUND
AY Boree Log - Reconnect with nature after party night with a refreshing d
ip in the Grose river!\n\nJoin Noah and I for a jaunt down into the valley
. It'll be 5-7km in total with some steep sections on the way down and bac
k up\, with 400m of elevation gain. You'll need to have a reasonable fitne
ss level to tackle the stairs on Pierces Pass\, but we'll go at a relaxed
pace. The technical difficulty of the trail is low (aside from the steepne
ss)\, so it's suitable for beginners. There may be some small overgrown se
ctions at the bottom\, and a creek crossing or two. You need to be a compe
tent swimmer if you plan on entering the water to cool off. Feel free to b
ring a small pool inflatable if you want.\n\nPlease be prepared for all we
ather conditions! (see packing list below)\n\nMake sure to bring enough wa
ter (2-3L) as there may be no refill points.\n\nSee more information on th
e National Parks site (we'll only be doing part of the track)\n\nThe plan
is to pack up camp at Cathedral Reserve on Sunday morning and leave togeth
er around 10am. It's a 15 minute drive to the carpark at the trailhead. Af
ter the hike\, everyone will get back in a car and we'll drive back to Syd
ney.\n\nPacking list\n\n Sturdy shoes or boots\n Day pack that can fit e
 verything listed below...\n 2-3L water\n Snacks (high-energy like muesli
  bars\, fruit\, nuts\, etc.)\n Packed lunch (or just extra snacks)\n Lig
