DESCRIPTION:\n\nYou must be attending and approved for the Boree Log main e
 vent to sign up for this trip.\n\nAah\, Claustral. The gem of Blueys canyo
 ns.\nThree incredible waterfall abseils into one of the deepest\, darkest\
 , longest\, greenest slots in the Blue Mountains.\n\nJoin Maria\, Nick F a
 nd I (Stephen) on the Sunday of Boree Log trip exploring this amazing envi
 ronment\, with a possible side-trip up Thunder Gorge and a caving-like scr
 amble to a glow worm cave! We’ll start early on Sunday morning\, aiming 
 to leave the campsite by 7:30-8:00.\n\nYou MUST have had previous canyoni
 ng experience\, be confident abseiling\, physically fit and prepared for a
  long day – up to 12hrs. The hike out is steep and fairly long.\n\nGEAR:
  (* = can borrow from UNSWOC)\nPlease note that this is a long day\, with
  very few bailout options. Double\, triple check you have all of the non-a
 sterisk’d items on this list BEFORE leaving Sydney. Items borrowed from 
 the club will be organised on Sunday morning.\n\n 	Canyoning gear:\n– Em
 ergency blanket (You must carry one on every club canyoning trip. You can 
 grab one from the gear cupboard or at Boree Log for $5 cash)\n– Harness*
 \n– Helmet*\n– 3x locking carabiner*\n– 1x ATC\n– 1x 120cm safety 
 sling*\n– Prusik cord*\n– Drybag*\n– Headtorch (Ideally waterproof/r
 esistant)\n– Backpack that can fit ALL your gear in and that can get wet
 .\n 	Clothing:\n– Wetsuit*\n– Enclosed shoes with good grip\n– Wool 
 socks\n– Boardshorts to wear on top of wetsuit\n– Thermals to wear und
 er your wetsuit (optional\, but helpful)\n– Warm\, lightweight jacket to
  put in your dry bag. (100% mandatory. This is in case we get stuck\, and 
 you need to change into something warm)\n 	Food:\n– 2.0L Water in bottle
 s (FULL when we leave camp)\n– Substantial lunch (pack it in a waterproo
 f container\, and make sure it’s vaguely crush-proof)\n– Snacks\n– C
 hocolate or something nice to share!\n 	Miscellaneous:\n– Any personal m
 edicine (asthma puffer\, Epipen etc)\n– A pair of thongs/flipflops to le
 ave in the car (since your shoes will get wet)\n– Phone or camera for ph
 otos (optional\, and only if you’re prepared for it to get wet if your d
 rybag leaks! Bring a ziploc bag or two to protect it)\n\nIf you have any q
