SUMMARY:SUNDAY BL –  Dam Cliffs Beginner Climbing
DESCRIPTION:Stephen and I (Sammy) will be leading a beginner climbing trip 
 to Dam cliffs. It features some chill rope climbing at easy to intermediat
 e grades. It also has a swimming hole where you can attempt some deep wate
 r solo (see photo) or cliff jumping. Or...you can just chill out in the wa
 ter and have a swim.\n\nYou must be approved for Boree Log to attend.\n\n\
 n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThe plan is to drive from the Boree Log campground to the cr
 ag on Sunday\, where we will set up top ropes for everyone to climb. No cl
 imbing experience is needed. If you´re a competent lead climber and lead 
 belayer\, you´re also welcomed. It will be an awesome day out and you wil
 l need:\n\n 	Climbing gear: A harness*\, helmet*\, locking carabiner*\, be
 lay device/ATC*\, climbing shoes\, chalk bag.\n\n 	* = club can provide\n
  	if you have your own gear please bring it\n\n\n 	For clothing: Wear clot
 hes you are comfortable climbing in (i.e. sporty) as well as extra layers 
 and raincoat incase it is cold or rains. Also\, bring your swimmers and a 
 towel if you are easily entised by water.\n 	For sustenance: 2 L of water\
 , lunch\, and snacks.\n 	Other gear: sunscreen\, medicines if you need the
 m (asthma puffer\, etc).\n\nLeave a comment to let us know your experience
  and tell us your favourite type of ... water.\n\nPlease mention if you ha
 ve a car. We will make sure everyone has a SPOT IN A CAR TO GET BACK TO SY
 DNEY.\n\nYou need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend th
 ese trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected y
 ou can then sign up for another trip\, this just makes it easier for volun
 teer trip leaders.\n\nPlease be aware that as the weather is unpredictable
 \, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly\n\n&nbsp\;
