DESCRIPTION:NOTE: Registration for all Boree Log day trips (like this one) 
 will open on Tuesday at 6 pm. You MUST already be accepted onto the main B
 oree Log event in order to attend.\n\n\n\nCome join Gabe and I (Oliver) on
  an awesome\, wet and not quite as long a day canyoning down Macquarie Pa
 ss..\n\n**Requirements**: be a competent swimmer + know how to abseil. We 
 can briefly refresh on abseiling skills if needed.\n\nGEAR (Items with (*)
  can be borrowed from the club on Sunday morning but bring your own if you
  have it\, there may not be enough):\n\n 	Harness *\n 	Helmet *\n 	Figure 
 8 Device or ATC *\n 	Prussik and biner *\n 	Safety sling and biner *\n 	We
 tsuit *\n\nWHAT TO WEAR:\n\n 	Enclosed shoes for canyoning (will get wet)\
 n 	Swimmers / thermals\n\nWHAT TO CARRY:\n\n 	Emergency blanket (can be pu
 rchased for $5 from the gear cupboard)\n 	Sunscreen\n 	Lunch (in a dry bag
 ) and 2L of water\n 	Dry layer(s) (thermals or woollen jumper - must be wo
 ol to keep you warm when wet)\n 	Drybag\n 	Backpack (25-40L\, will get wet
 )\n 	Headtorch + spare batteries\n 	Medications/epipens/first aid kit if y
 ou need them!\n\nLEAVE IN THE CAR:\n\n 	Dry change of clothes\n 	Dry shoes
