We will only be climbing the first 2 pitches\, which you can read about on the crag here.\n\n \;\n\nPlease note\, whilst this is a beginner multipitch trip\, it is an intermediate sport climbing trip and although you do not need multipitch experience\, you will need to be compe tent in some sport climbing skills. Make sure to read all the information on this page and answer all questions when signing up. \n\n \;\n\nTo come on this trip you need to be proficient in the following skills:\n\n Basic abseiling\n Lead belaying\n Cleaning routes and anchors\n\n \; \n\nYou will need the following gear:\n\n *Climbing harness\n *Climbing helmet\n *Belay device + locking carabiner (your belay device must be sui table for a top belay eg. Gri-Gri\, *ATC Guide. IF YOU BRING AN ATC IT MUS T HAVE GUIDE MODE AND YOU WILL NEED AN ADDITIONAL CARABINER)\n *Safety sl ing + 2 locking carabiners\n *Climbing shoes (COMFORTABLE – i.e. not yo ur aggressive indoor bouldering shoes\, you’ll be standing in them all d ay)\n Water\, lunch\, and snacks\n Headtorch\n A small backpack (assume you’ll need to climb with all your belongings\, including your approach shoes)\n Wind breaker or jumper\n Sunscreen\n\nItems marked with an ast erisk (*) can be borrowed from the gear cupboard.\n\n \;\n\nIf you wis h to come on this trip\, let us know: your experience with climbing\, mult ipitch\, and the required skills listed above\; what kind of belay device you will be bringing\; if you have a car\, how many spots you have\, and w here you will be leaving from\; your Facebook profile\; and your least fav ourite fruit.\n\n \;\n\nDue to the nature of this trip\, we will only be able to take 4 participants.\n\nBookings will open at 6pm tonight to g ive everyone a chance to see this post.\n\nEnsure you have read all inform ation and meet all requirements before signing up to the trip.\n\nAs this is a beginner multipitch trip\, preference may be given to those with less multipitch experience.
