SUMMARY:Sending Sheilas aka All Girls Climbing Trip
DESCRIPTION:Yay! Finally a plan! Read it\, memorise it and if you have any
questions please shoot me a message over FB or on 0430 759 688.\n\nGet psy
 ched!!!\n\nTHE PLAN\n\nSaturday\n\n	4 - 5pm: Meet in Sydney with designate
d drivers and head towards the Cathedral of Ferns campsite in Mt Wilson. W
 ith stops\, this should take roughly 2.5 hrs\n	6:30 - 7:30pm: Arrive\, set
up camp\, get dinner and a fire going!\n	7:30 - late: Hang out and eat wh
atever delicious goods Nikki has baked. Everyone else is encouraged to bak
 e :)\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nSunday\n\n	3 - 7am: Breakfast and psych for climbin
 g!\n	7 - 8am: Head towards Bardens Lookout/Mt York\n	6-7pm: Head back to S
ydney with a potential dinner stop along the way\n\nThe reason we may be h
eading to two and not just one crag is that with the size of our group\, i
t would be rather rude to overcrowd any one crag. Bardens Lookout and Mt Y
ork are basically in the same place\, so your sistas from another mista wo
n't be too far away. There are also great climbs within the 15-20 range at
both crags :)\n\nCheck out the routes here:\n\nMt York - https://www.thec
 rag.com/climbing/australia/blue-mountains/mount-york\n\nBardens Lookout -
 https://www.thecrag.com/climbing/australia/blue-mountains/bardens-lookout\
n\nCar pooling:\n\nDrivers: Post on the FB event how many seats you have\,
what time you will be leaving and how many people you can take.\n\nPassen
gers: Be quick and snag a spot when drivers put up their car!\n\nFood:\n\n
Unless someone knows how to do a massive cook-up I suggest arranging your
own camping dinner for Saturday night. The club may have cooking equipment
(gas\, stoves and pots) that you can borrow\, but if not post on the FB e
vent and see if you can do a food share with someone else.\n\nBring your o
wn breakfast and lunch for Sunday.\n\nGear list:\n\nMost of this can be bo
rrowed from the club if you do not own it yourself. Gear night is on Wedne
sday and a deposit is required to borrow gear.\n\nEssential\n\n	Helmet\n	H
arness\n	Climbing shoes\n	Food and water (At least 1.5L for Sunday. There
is a rain water tank that most people drink out of at Cathedral of Ferns)\
n	Sleeping bag\n	Tent\n	Sleeping mat\n	Warm clothes because the mountains
will be cold at night\n	Head torch or hand held torch\n	Cooking equipment
or a friend who has cooking equipment\n\nOptional (aka bring it if you hav
 e it!)\n\n	Chalk and chalk bag\n	Ropes\n	Belay device and locking biner\n
Safety sling and locking biner\n	Quickdraws\n	Bolt plates\n	Short statics/
 cordelettes\n	First aid kit\n\nOther stuff\n\n	I've never tried it before\
, but I think climbing in costume would be fun. Bring whatever ridiculous
clothes you have hiding in the depths of your closest and let's bring some
  pizazz to the crag!\n\n[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Exh
 ibit A: Banana![/caption]\n\n	Spots are strictly limited to 20 people.\n	I
'm pretty sure I've forgotten something so stay posted as I hopefully beco
me less geriatric over the next three days.\n\nCheers\,\n\nVicky :)\n\n&nb
