DESCRIPTION:Hey hey\,\n\nBlair and I (Liam) both haven't been through Claus
 tral canyon in too long\, so it's time for another visit!!\n\n\n\nClaustra
 l is one of the more impressive canyons in the Blue Mountains so if you ha
 ven't tried it then come along. It will be a very big day\, we'll be walki
 ng\, scrambling and canyoning for 12 hours\, so a good level of fitness is
  required. Having done a canyon before and familiarity with abseiling is a
 lso needed. At the moment it looks like it will be pretty cold in the moun
 tains this weekend\, so even colder inside the canyon.\n\nYou’ll need al
 l of the gear described below – the technical stuff can be borrowed from

 Required gear:\n\n	helmet\n	harness and safety sling\n	abeiling device (fi
 gure 8\, ATC\, other) and biner\n	Wetsuit\n	double layers of thermals &amp
 \; beanie (no cotton!)\n	socks (thick wool ones are best)\n	headtorch\n	hi
 king clothes (no jeans or any other cotton clothing)\n	runners or volleys\
 n	2L water bottle\n	lunch and lots of chocolate\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;
