SUMMARY:[FULL] SATURDAY BL - YILEEN Beginner Canyon
DESCRIPTION:You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend 
 these trips. Please sign up\nfor only ONE trip per day. If you get rejecte
 d you can then sign up for another trip\, this just\nmakes it easier for v
 olunteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is\nunpredictab
 le\, trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nZee\, 
 Cave Gabe\, Ryan and Emily are leading a beginner friendly canyoning trip 
 through Yileen Canyon\, some track notes can be found here. It should take
  about 5-7 hours\, with some abseils\, scrambling (down climbing) and perh
 aps a jump dependent on water levels.\nWe can take 4 participants\, so get
  in quick!\n\nWhat do I need to bring?\n\n 	Dry bag\n 	Helmet*\n 	Harness*
 \n 	Descender (figure 8)*\n 	Safety Sling*\n 	2 x locking carabiners*\n 	E
 nclosed grippy shoes (these will get wet and muddy)\n 	3-5mm wetsuit*\n 	S
 horts to go over and protect your wetsuit\n 	Rain/spray jacket\n 	Headtorc
 h\n 	Emergency blanket (Please ensure you have this as you will be left at
  camp without it\, can be purchased from the club for $5 or any outdoor st
 ore)\n 	Warm clothes (bring a set of thermals to leave in the drybag\, no 
 cotton)\n 	At least 2L of water\n 	Food and snacks for the day\n 	Personal
  medication (e.g. epipen\, asthma puffer)\n 	Backpack to fit all of the ab
 ove (will get wet)*\n 	Nice-to-haves:\n\n 	Thongs to leave in the car\n 	G
 loves to keep your hands warm\n 	Neoprene/merino socks to keep the toes to
 asty\n 	Whistle\n 	Towel\n 	Phone/camera\, preferably waterproof or leave 
 in your drybag (triple bag it incase)\n\n\n\n*Can be borrowed from the clu
 b for free for this trip. Gear will be organised at Boree Log.\n\nIn the c
