 yoning gear not provided:\n\n 	Emergency blanket (You must carry one on ev
 ery club canyoning trip. You must buy one from the gear cupboard for $5 ca
 sh or most outdoor stores)\n 	Backpack that can fit ALL your gear in and t
 hat can get wet\n\n\n\n\n 	Clothing:\n\n 	Enclosed shoes with good grip (o
 ld sneakers are best!)\n 	Wool / neoprene socks\n 	Boardshorts to wear on 
 top of wetsuit (compulsory to protect the club wetsuits)\n 	Thermals\n 	Gl
 oves (gardening gloves are ok)\n 	Swimmers\n 	NO COTTON! (this includes s

 tend these trips. If you get rejected then you can sign up for another tri
 p\, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware 
 that as the weather is unpredictable\, trip leaders may need to alter trip
