Whether you are new to climbing all together or would like to learn or pr actice some trad (Traditional climbing which involves placing your own gea r (cams and nuts) into cracks as protection)\, sign ups can be found below . MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL THE INFORMATION FIRST.\n\nWe approach the climbs from the top of the cliff\, where we can set up top ropes\, then abseil do wn to climb back up. You can check out the crag page here: https://www.the crag.com/en/climbing/australia/point-perpendicular\n\n\n\nPoint Perp is ro ughly 1.5 hr drive away from Bendeela Campground where we will be staying and we will organise car pooling so please tell us in the sign up comment if you have a car and how many people you can take.\n\nWe will head back t o Bendeela in the afternoon/evening\, ready for party and Sunday trips.\n\ n \;\n\nSince this is a Boree Log trip\, gear such as harnesses\, helm ets\, belay devices will be provided\, but if you have your own please bri ng it.\n\nWhat YOU need to bring:\n\n climbing shoes\n chalk (optional)\ n food/snacks for the day\n at least 2L water\n warm jacket (sea breeze can be strong and very chilly)\n sunscreen\n bag to carry everything (i ncluding harness\, helmet etc which we can give you)\n\n \;\n\nIf you have read all of this information and this sounds like a trip you're keen for\, you can sign up below.\n\nNOTE Australian Citizens - This trip falls on the day of the 2023 Australian Indigenous Voice Referendum. If you are an Australian citizen you are required to vote so you must have done this beforehand! WE WILL NOT BE TAKING PEOPLE TO FIND VOTING CENTRES!\n\nYou n eed to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Ple ase sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then si gn up for another trip\, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip lead ers.
