SUMMARY:SATURDAY BL - MOUNT BANKS Hike
DESCRIPTION:You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend 
 these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected
  you can then sign up for another trip\, this just makes it easier for vol
 unteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable\
 , trip leaders may need to alter trips accordingly\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nHey Every
 one!\n\nNick and I will be running a beginner hiking trip around Mount Ban
 ks on the Saturday of Boree Log. Provided we have good weather\, we should
  have some excellent views of the Grose Valley. The hike will be about 12k
 m and 4-5 hours long so you will need a moderate level of fitness but the 
 track is relatively easy and sutible for beginners. We'll gather at the ca
 mpground on Saturday morning before driving 20 minutes to the trailhead\, 
 complete the hike\, and return to the campground in the afternoon.\n\nWhat
  to bring:\n\n 	Clothes appropriate for hiking\n 	Comfortable walking shoe
 s\, ideally hiking boots\n 	Backpack to hold your belongings\n 	Sun protec
 tion: Sunscreen/Hat/Sunnies\n 	A warm jumper and rain jacket in case of ba
 d weather\n 	At least 2L of water (remember to bring this to the campgroun
 d as there is no drinking water available)\n 	Lunch and snacks\n 	Any pers
 onal medication you may need\n\nIn the comments let us know your hiking ex
