DESCRIPTION:You need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend 
 these trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected
  you can then sign up for another trip\, this just makes it easier for vol
 unteer trip leaders. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable\

  and myself this Sunday for a trip down Koombanda Canyon!\n\nExperience ab
 seiling and confidence scrambling is preferred\, but we will have a few sp
 ots open to beginners and we can teach you to abseil / make sure you're sa
 fe on the day.\n\nYou will need:\n\n 	Harness*\n 	Descender* (figure 8\, o
 r ATC) and a carabiner\n 	Safety sling and carabiner*\n 	Prusik and carabi
 ner*\n 	At least 1.5L water\n 	Food: lunch\, snacks.\n 	Emergency blanket 
 (compulsory for all club canyons\, can be bought from the gear cupboard/Bo
 ree Log camp for $5)\n 	Helmet*\n 	Wetsuit*\n 	Board shorts (to wear over
  wetsuit\, compulsory if wearing a club wetsuit)\n 	Backpack  (big enough 
 to hold everything)\n 	Dry bag*\n 	Enclosed Shoes (Volleys or old sneaker
 s are good options)\n 	Woollen socks\n 	Headtorch\n 	Thermals to wear unde
 r wetsuit\, or old rain jacket to wear over wetsuit if you get cold\n 	Dry
  thermals/jumper (not cotton!) for emergency\n 	Dry clothes to leave in ca
 r\n 	Sunscreen\n 	No cotton (it gets very cold when wet)\n 	Good vibes\n\n
