SUMMARY:[FULL] SATURDAY BL - Intermediate Canyoning - Bungonia Main
DESCRIPTION:Bungonia? I hardly know her!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nBrendan and I will b
 e running Bungonia Main canyon this Boree Log (Canyon Description here).\n
 \n\n\n(image taken from another UNSWOC event: (read here)\n\n \n\nExpect 
 this to be a LONG day of about 10 hours\, abseiling\, jumps\, scrambling 
 and walking in possible cold/wet conditions. You must be competent with ve
 rtical abseiling\, and have done at least 2 wet canyons previously. Prefer
 ence will be given to people who have rigging experience so we can efficie
 ntly 'leap frog' through the canyon. This will be a great experience to le
 arn efficient canyon movement and working in rope teams.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nBEC
 AUSE THIS WILL BE A LONG DAY WE WILL BE MEETING AND CAMPING AT BUNGONIA CA
 MPGROUND ON FRIDAY NIGHT. We will get up EARLY\, go do the canyon and then
  join the rest of Boree Log at the Bendeela campground.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWHAT
  TO BRING:\n\n 	Dry bag (plz BYO\, we don't have enough club ones for ever
 yone)\n 	Helmet*\n 	Harness*\n 	Descender (figure 8)*\n 	Safety Sling*\n 	
 2 x locking carabiners*\n 	Enclosed shoes that you can walk in while wet\n
  	Warm socks\n 	Wetsuit*\n 	Shorts to go over and protect your wetsuit\n 	
 Water (at least 2L)\n 	Headtorch\n 	Emergency blanket (can be purchased fr
 om the club for $5)\n 	Warm clothes (bring a dry set of thermals)\n 	Backp
 ack to carry stuff in (we will try and borrow the club canyon bags for eve
 ryone)\n 	Food to last the whole day (including some snacks to share)\n\n*
