SUMMARY:SATURDAY BL - Hiking to Gooches Crater
DESCRIPTION:Hey all!\n\nKatie and I (Bennett) are leading a trip to Gooch
 ’s Crater – a natural\, crater-like amphitheater. This will be a great
  day of hiking\, scrambling up rock pagodas\, and exploring the cliffs aro
 und this feature. This hike is approximately 18km\, with 629 vertical mete
 rs and should take us about 6 hours to complete. Due to this distance\, so
 me hiking experience is preferred for this hike.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\nWhat yo
 u'll need to bring:\n\n 	Sturdy\, comfortable shoes or hiking boots\n 	Bac
 kpack to hold your stuff\n 	Appropriate hiking clothes\n 	Hat\n 	Rain jack
 et\n 	Warm clothes\n 	Lunch and snacks\n 	2-3 L of water - need to have th
 is ready to go at the campground for when we leave Saturday morning (remem
 ber there is no drinking water at the campground)\n 	Emergency blanket (ca
 n be purchased from the club at gear night)\n 	Headtorch\n 	Sunscreen/mosq
 uito repellent\n 	Any personal medication you might normally carry with yo
 u\n\nPlease leave a comment in the sign ups if you have a car (including h
 ow many spots you have) or need a lift. Also be sure to let us know your g
 eneral fitness/hiking experience. And lastly\, just so I know you've read
