DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Boree Log!\n\nMake sure you read the entire descript
 ion and bring all the required gear\n\nThis Boree Log\, Stephen and I (Geo
 rgie) will be running a trip to Geronimo Canyon. Geronimo is a short and s
 weet wet canyon with 4-5 abseils. Participants will need to be comfortabl
 e with abseiling\, cold swims\, and a reasonable walk in and out.\n\nGear\
 n\nThe following gear can be provided but please bring your own if you can
  as there is a limited supply:\n\n 	Harness\n 	Helmet\n 	3x locking carabi
 ner\n 	1x Figure 8\n 	1x 120cm safety sling/other safety device (e.g. Petz
 l connect adjust)\n 	1x Large drybag\n 	Wetsuit\n\nGear that will not be p
 rovided that you MUST bring:\n\n 	Emergency blanket (can be purchased from
  the gear cupboard\, most outdoor stores\, and pharmacies for $5-10)\n 	Ba
 ckpack that can fit ALL your gear in (30L – 40L)\, get wet\, and be trea
 ted rough (e.g. you will hike\, abseil\, swim\, and jump into water with t
 his).\n 	Clothing -\n\n 	Enclosed shoes with good grip (e.g. old sneakers)
 \n 	Dry clothes to hike in/out of the canyon in\n 	Boardshorts to wear on 
 top of wetsuit (compulsory to protect the club wetsuits)\n 	Wool/neoprene 
 socks\n 	Light raincoat that is ok to get wet\n 	Thermal top and bottoms\n
  	Swimmers (to put under your wetsuit)\n 	DO NOT BRING COTTON CLOTHING.\n\
 n\n 	Food -\n\n 	1.5L of water in bottles.\n 	Substantial lunch (pack it i
 n a waterproof container\, and make sure it’s vaguely crush-proof)\n 	Sn
 acks\n\n\n 	Other -\n\n 	Any personal medicine (asthma puffer\, Epipen etc
 )\n 	A pair of thongs/flipflops to leave in the car (since your shoes will
  get wet)\n 	Phone or camera for photos (optional and only if you’re pre
 pared for it to get wet if your drybag leaks! Bring a ziploc bag or two to

  the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. If your trip request for 
 this trip is not approved\, you will be able to sign up for a different on
 e. Please be aware that as the weather is unpredictable\, trip leaders may
  need to alter trips accordingly.
