We'll be climbing in the Mossy Wall and Steep Wall areas\, andd you can check out the climbs h ere. Grades range from easy through to hard\, and we'll be setting up top ropes so there's something for everyone\, no outdoor climbing experience n ecessary.\n\nDepending on timing/weather/vibes\, there may be time for a s wim in the dam so pack your cossies!\n\n\nA cool club member (me) climbing at Mossy Wall\nThis photo\, taken on Boree Log 2 years ago\, features my first time climbing in the Blue Mountains\, my first time leading outdoors \, and the first route I cleaned.\n \;\n\nWhat to bring:\n\n Minimum 2L of water\n Food for the day\n Clothes appropriate for climbing (shoul d be comfortable\, allow unrestricted movement\, and be alright if they ge t dirty/torn)\n Sunscreen\n Warm weather gear incase it gets cold\n Day backpack to carry your belongings\n Climbing harness\n Climbing helmet\ n Climbing shoes\n Belay device (eg ATC) and locking carabiner\n\nItems in bold can be borrowed on the day if you do not have your own. You DO N OT need to collect them from the gear cupboard prior to Boree Log.\n\n&nbs p\;\n\nYou need to be approved for the main Boree Log event to attend thes e trips. Please sign up for only ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another trip\, this just makes it easier for volunte er trip leaders.
