SUMMARY:[FULL] SATURDAY BL - COSMIC COUNTY Trad Climbing
DESCRIPTION:Hey folks!\n\nPat\, Jack and myself (Crispy) will be heading to
  Cosmic County on Saturday 16 March (This is a Boree Log trip)\n\nThis is 
 a trad climbing trip (trad/traditional climbing involves carrying and plac
 ing protection - nuts\, hexes\, camming devices and so on - rather than cl
 ipping into bolts).\n\nCosmic County is a fantastic sunny crag home to som
 e of the best cracks in the Blue Mountains. This is a great opportunity to
  learn more about trad gear and techniques or to get more comfortable with
  anchors\, abseiling and top belaying in a stunning setting with some grea
 t company.\n\nSign ups and more info can be found below.\n\nMAKE SURE YOU

 ound at 8:00am. It is a short drive to the crag - We will organise car poo
 ling so please tell us in the sign up comments if you have a car and how m
 any people you can take.\n\nWe will return to the campground after the tri
 p to have dinner and the thrifty threads party!\n\nThis trip is for Boree 
 Log participants only\, essential gear for the activities such as harnesse
 s\, helmets\, belay devices will be provided. Please bring any of your own
  gear if you have it.\n\nWhat YOU need to bring:\n\n 	Climbing shoes\n 	Ch
 alk\n 	Food/snacks for the day\n 	At least 2L water\n 	Sunscreen\n 	Helmet
 *\n 	Harness*\n 	Belay device such as an ATC*\n 	Safety sling and locking 
 carabiner*\n 	Bag to carry everything\n 	Appropriate clothing for the weat
 her\n\nItems with (*) can be provided to you from the club on Saturday mor
 ning.\n\nIf you have read all of this information and this sounds like a t
 rip you're keen for\, you can sign up below.\n\nYou need to be approved fo
 r the main Boree Log event to attend these trips. Please sign up for only 
 ONE trip per day. If you get rejected you can then sign up for another tri
 p\, this just makes it easier for volunteer trip leaders. Please be aware 
 that as the weather is unpredictable\, trip leaders may need to alter trip
